The weight of decisions
A journeyed crossroad
with a heart bound decision
selfish against pride
an obligatory condition

Learning is to their own
reap the benefits from sacrifices
earned knowledge to share?
or is another sacrifice best?

An inner struggle
a firm hold moral compass
dodging shadows
and disappearing darkness

The answer is plain
as seared by my mistakes
but will you heed my truth
and save you from this pain?
