Just something I wrote while bored in class. I guess it is a poem.
The day is coming to an end.
The clock is nearing three.
Out we will go, into the world.
The vast unknown.
Many are ready,
Prepared and excited.
Others are worried,
Nervous and frightened.
It is the end of a chapter of our lives.
The beginning of a new.
One filled with struggles,
And immense responsibility.
We will move on,
Forget the drama of high school.
Move into our twenties,
Prosper and raise families.
Look back at the days behind us,
Miss the ease and excitement of our youth.
Relive it once more,
Through our children and our memories,
But never have such good of times as we had,
In those dreadful days of high school.
We will lose our many friends,
Meet many new.
Where have they gone?
These past four years sure flew.
