This piece describes another gloomy day in my life.
I sit and wonder what it would be like if life wasn't if I wasn't.
I often dream of traveling to the dark side but some say I mustn't.
Life begins, it grows and matures, and then it slowly deteriorates.
So then why do people say that the gift of life is so great?
Just as a plant thrives on water and sunlight, life thrives on death.
Death will always be the winner; it will always take your last breath.
Death is inevitable; I can merely taste the desuetude of life;
That is my mind soliloquizing from a heart full of strife.
A state of confusion frequently envelops my mind.
Yet this state of confusion is hidden so to others it is blind.
Pain burdens the heart and sends me on a flight free of reality;
But this flight is so diabolic it would only end in a tragedy.
Life's troublesome waters always seem to catch me with my guard down,
And can instantly change a glowing smile into a desolate frown.
At the start of each day, I wonder if I will be able
To face up to death and accept the Omega.
