Are the years wasted that we spend in school?
When our spirit is made flesh
The moment we are born
We are delivered into the hands of strangers
That look upon are naked blood covered bodies,
Judging us
forcing us to call out
if we were born
silent as the dead
To the world that we are alive

Mindless and helpless
We are born dependent on strangers
Strangers into a world
We know flows through our own veins

From birth we know
What the world holds...
A life of strangers
A life of connections
Life and death

So little the years seem
Passing by with every
Breath worth taking
For ever breath we waste

Thirteen to fourteen years
Roughly 780 days
Close to 46800 seconds
Of are lives are spent
Forced behind
School walls

Wasted
Worthless
Some say, but only to those who lack
Sight and mind
To see beyond

The hall, for instant,
Can teach the way of life when it
Filled with students
All carry their own intend destnation

Some comform with the flow
to get to where they are headed
Others go against it
Some easier than others

We are all in this flow
For a time
Each one us parting according to are own agenda

Some leave through open doors
Others open the doors themselves
Then there are the few
Here and there
Who wait for a lock door
To unlock

These halls even show what is inevitable
We join and part from the flow
More than one
Are destnation change
The way we travel through
Changes
And at the end of the day

We move on
To better places
To worse
But no one takes the same road
