Loss via addiction!
There was a time I knew you,
That time is gone away.
All that's left is a robot,
and I fear it's here to stay.

You tell me that you love me,
and you look me in the eye.
You say it like you mean it,
but I feel like it's a lie.

You thought you'd try it once,
and now it leads you by the hand.
You say it takes you to a place,
a euphoric promised land.

When you come back home to me,
you are never really there.
The far away look upon your face
makes it seem like you don't care.

Yet here I stand, praying,
that you will see the light,
and the robot here before me
will vanish into the night.
