Two new (and unfinished!!) works. Haven't really posted in awhile. Sorry!
Is there a god?-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I remember being so humbly infinite
you can't box the feeling in words
that slight apprehension in the seconds before
you try weakly to seem concerned

it's a moment of pure abstraction
it's a second of silence at dawn
a peice of a puzzle so complex
a peripheral glimpse and it's gone

it's the way you look at him blindly
how i feel when i struggle to know
that those midnight goodbyes meant nothing
and nothing is all i have to show

it's mostly about all those beacons
closing the gaps between us
canvasing immaterial distances
as we test our own metal for rust

it's a moment of pure abstraction
it's a second of silence at dawn
a peice of a puzzle so complex
a peripheral glimpse and it's gone

Someone Say Amen=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

winding away
all of your days
deep in a haze
of fever and lust
wasting away
contently contained
safely betrayed
but who prays for us?
market campaigns
modern crusades
coporate chains
remind us we're slaves
inside my brain
there's hurt and shame
still i remain
isn't that enough?

our hearts are bigger
than words like 'whitey' or 'nigger'
someone say amen
someone say amen
