A short inspired poem.
I am in your room late at night
When the lights are dim and the forest is outside
And there you are reading, sleepy
By the fireside
By the ember's glow
While you're tucked in tight.
I am out from the shadows then
My eyes are illuminating in the night.
Am I friend or am I foe?
I tiptoe to your sleepy side
And whisper, I am the wolf.
