Comparing death to love, mixed with a nice dose of mental instability.
Seek not the comfort of love
Seek only the passion
The fire and lust that grips beneath the skin
That aches and moans
Groans and bemoans
The fact that you are alone
Cold, frozen, numb to it all
Love is a curse
An untimely tomb
It is the grave
Six feet under, heart torn asunder
It is the maggots that slip
So gracefully, so full of purpose
Down your dead throat and into your soul
It is the rot of the flesh
The putrescence incarnate
It is alone
It is the knowledge
And the realization
That there is no God
That there is no Heaven
There is you
The grave
The maggots
The slave
An endless cycle
Dying to die
Death is a gift
Love sets us adrift
In a sea of pain
Where there is only acid
When you crave water
When there is only flame
When you beg for relief
Love is death
Death is salvation
And the worms live in between
Ready to eat your heart
And rip out your tongue
Leaving you numb
Cold
Frozen
Alone
