Simple poem about possible love
Once upon a time I was so naïve
Not sure if it was that I couldn't or wouldn't
But regardless, I refused to see
Then as a young adult
I lusted for you freely
Once again you made my day
The perfect gentleman
I never expected you to be
Yet you were and you're the only one who has
Made me feel as though I were worth more than a common whore
Then fate was cruel
Or was it me
We lost each other
This time forever it seemed.
Now we have found each other again
I'm like a teenager
Fantasizing constantly
Dreaming of you every night
And all the hours I should be working
But will our paths ever cross
Will we ever make up all the years we lost?
Or am I just a fool believing in a physic
One who in the end clearly didn't have a clue?
But what if he's was right
And truly had a vision in the beginning
And if so
When will you come and rescue me my knight?
