A ryming story I just wrote that plays into how badly we've been treating the earth.
Legacy of Kalpana

There is a tale far untold
To which great fantasy doth unfold

It is here in the forest
Ancient are its walls
Where lives a seeress
Teller of secrets with knowledge of all

She speaks in his sleep
Pry's open a box
Filled with great dreams far deep
And away with a hefty grin doth she walks

He awake to a room painted snow white
Stand up and take your hold
There she stands such a beautiful sight
And what wondrous things are about to unfold!

"I give to you the earth
To fulfill your greatest whims
Yet do not forget this grand worth
Or I will have you done to a fate ever grim."

Her voice is that of all

So kind yet firm

Yet he ignores her

And lets her great gift burn.

"You will have nothing now, that was all you were left.
And treating it so badly will play into your death.
I gave you a gift, to keep and cherish.
Now withering away along with it you will perish!"
