A poem on the subject of rain and prosperousness.
As the moon rises

Drumroll for the sun
Messengers from above
Cue birdsong and laughter
And all of which I love

Tears of the moon
For the next day to come
They lull all to sleep
With the beats of their drums

The dayshift begins
Composer comes round
Baton at the ready
A different song sounds

A song of growth
And of much learning
Everything thrives
And is filled with yearning

At the time of dusk
The moon is seen leering
Appearing jealous
From its last tearing

For she can not have it
The prosperous state
And wishing to cry
Stays up far too late
