Imagination turns an ordinary nail hole into something scary when the lights go out!

The Spider on my Ceiling

*Note* *Note* *Note* *Note* *Note* *Note* *Note* *Note* *Note*

There's a small hole in the ceiling,
Right up above my bed.
In the day time I don't mind it,
But, at night, I wait with dread. *Worry*
For that hole in the ceiling;
(It was made there by a screw),
Becomes a scary spider.
I'm telling you, it's true!
I can see it by the dimmest light;
Did it just move a little?
It may be just a trick, but, I
Am sure I saw it jiggle.
I dare not move one little inch or
It will drop on me!
There's only one thing left to do;
"Mommmmmy! Will you come and see?"
So Mom comes in and flips the switch,
Guess what that spider did?
It became a hole again,
Up there above my bed!
