Some days, sitting in class is far more excruciating than we'd like.
I want to stand up
in the middle of this
awful, awful room
and just scream
until my lungs burn
until my voice wavers
until my eyeballs pop right out of their sockets
'that'll show them,' I'd think
as my lonely eyeballs blink
all the way down the aisle.

As a side note, I'd like to add that I wrote this while sitting in math class at a university I particularly hated that I no longer attend. This is from a series of poems I wrote while sitting bored and angry in math class; this is my favorite one.
