A poem about pigs
Pigs

Some people think that the pig,
is a most petty and pompous prig,
but nothing could be further from the truth,
once you've tasted the life of the pig.

For the pig is an animal that sits,
in a pool of it's own foetid shit,
he sits there in place with shit on his face,
grinning happily into his pit.

But the pig there is cool,
while others think it a fool,
when the mud on it's back dries and cracks,
for the pig knows, as it rolls and wallows,
that it's life consists not of violent attack,
but of mud in the sun, an occasional sow,
and a plethora of bulging haystacks.
