Poetic musings about bottled water
Dasani

It's in there, in that tacky plastic bottle.
They tried to stamp a label on what can't be owned
Or bought or sold-what flowed for eons through living things
Occasionally communing in rivers, springs,
Or even vast seas. In fact,
It's most of you and me.
How did we acquire the audacity to bottle it,
Sell it, and call it...Dasani?
