as a child believing-adult learning the truth-all searching for something
When I was but a little child.
Believing in happily everafter.
Running like the wind in the wild.
Not a care in the world, birds scatter.

Barefoot,running across carpet of grass.
Silken hair like a banner waveing.
Shouting my love for life, alas.
Glory of brillant light shine so amazing.

Time past and I grew up without laughter.
Experience of disappointment opened my eyes.
There is no such thing as happily everafter.
Try hard enough and you just might win the prize.

What is the prize we are all searching for?
That ellusive dream outside our grip.
So many times I was almost at that door.
Someone would come and make me trip.
