Building a wall to protect your heart from being hurt again.
The Wall

Don't trust
Not again

The wall
Built to defend
Armored guards
Orders given

Don't trust
Can't trust

A strong army
A solid defense
Defend my soul
Guard my heart

Don't trust
Don't lose control

So long standing
Guarding still
Standing at attention
Never flinching

Don't trust
Or it's your end

An attack!
A weathered sentry
Pushes forward
The wall defended

Don't trust
He doesn't love you

Another attack
It is expected
No rest for a sentinel
Stand your ground!

Don't trust
Don't love

The guards grow weary
So long fighting
Such a long battle
The sentry grows weak

Don't trust
It's not worth it

Wounded generals meet
Peace in the air
So strong the hope
Is it over?

Don't trust
He'll only hurt you

The order called
Weapons laid down
Injured army mended
Enemy, now a friend

Don't trust
No, need trust
