Stepping into the woods lets you step out of yourself so easily.
Middle of May

Middle of May and one of her slippery rivers
Brings its stones into bloom.
The soft moss suns its soggy back
Just shy of the curious bank
While yellowed waterfalls carve bridges
To nowhere.
