An account of Spiritual amakening, and the road traveled thereafter.
Be Still, My Child

The rise of His chest, the deep, roaring sound,
"Be still my child--no longer lost, you've been found.
Away from the wolves, I've scooped you up,
Placed you on my back and drank of your cup.
Your wool was so covered in sin, grime, and defeat,
Now cleansed with blood, where mercy and love both meet.
Onto the straight and narrow you'll find
Your hand will be held, forever in mine.
For neither trees, nor nails, nor freshly dug graves
Can darken the love of my Son, determined to save.
For his love shines pure--the beauty of grace--
Casting a light on each lamb's humble face.
So sit down right here, and I'll hold you tight
While my Spirit guides you in the ways of right.
And one day, when your work is all through,
You'll join the angels in a song of old and new."
