A short poem about life that came to me while going to sleep.
Condemned

Condemned to love,
Condemned to hate,
Condemned to anger,
Condemned to fate.

Condemned to hope,
Condemned to fear,
Condemned to dream,
Condemned to tears.

Condemned to smile,
Condemned to cry,
Condemned to frown,
Condemned to die.

Condemned to greatness,
Condemned to fail,
Condemned to sorrow,
Condemned to jail.

Condemned to fly,
Condemned to fall,
Condemned to nothing,
Condemned to all.

Condemned to life,
And all the better for it.
