A poem regarding the phases of love from beginning to end, and the feelings within them.
Eyes close and pulse beats
Heaving like a cat in heat
Blanket buried, cotton thin
This is how a love begins

Dancing close with lids alight
Tearing fire through the night
Soaring, flying like a kite
This is how a love is right

Trembling fist and quivering vain
Narcissism and trustless gain
Smothering until you are insane
This was love,
now it's pain.
