This is a poem about why some people write poetry
{ Center} When your all alone and no one is there
When you try to tell people you problems, they just don't care
When the things that you say make people upset
Things you never thought you would, you start to regret
The life you knew is closing its doors
The person you've become is not one that you adore
The people you met and thought they would be there to the end
Suddenly show you that they can never be people you will ever call friends
When a tragedy tears your family apart
You think that nothing will bring you back to the start
Trying to speak, but finding no words
No way out, you feel like you can't breath
When your life is crumbling all around you
And you know that you have nothing to lose
Instead of trying to find peace in something that brings misery
Instead of crying
Tasting your tears and not caring one bit
Instead of telling yourself there is nothing you can do
Sit down and write a story about what you have been through
And when you start to write, it's a natural high,
For that one moment,
All your problems
Are out of sight{/center}
