Love is so hard when your heart is torn between two.
Yesterday was a bad night
Laying in bed, contemplating life, loss and love.
Enveloped by my loneliness.
Wishing he was here as I took another sip of my Brandy.

Picturing them together
Laughing, joking and sexing, that used to be me
When did things go wrong? Can I deal with this?
Hoping, praying for that wish, the day he comes back.

Baby, I miss you
I want you back, he says
I love his ways
She doesn't love him like me

The flowers and trees, slowing dying
Like my heartbeat.
I'm pacing, I'm racing,
I just can't stand still.

I turn to my left
My man sleeping peacefully beside me
He doesn't deserve this
What a diss?

What can I say?
My heart is facing the other way
I lay back down, close my eyes and sleep
Count those sheep
Drift into dreams about me and him...
