A woman suffering from depression, refuses, to let it take over again.
I hear you rapping at my door,
as I'm pacing forth, and back
this hardwood floor.

For the person that you seek,
has gone to rest eternally.

'She does not live here, anymore'

She'd been here nearly twenty years
carrying round, a burdened heart
and stream, of endless tears.

Keeping all her pain inside
her loss, of hope, her loss, of pride.
Not knowing why her light, so dim
refused to let the sun shine in.

Why, must you keep
rapping at my door?
I will never let you in!

'She does not live here anymore'

It came a day last summer,
she took a pill, a doctored given '
and the sun came out, so bright,
giving back, her joy, and pride,
along with the will to go on living.

So, go now let who she was,
rest in peace.

'I said'

'She does not live here anymore'
