Loathing
A poison on my soul
When I think
I only think of the hate

It keeps growing
Never weaker
As you go further
Loathing isn’t the emotion I want to feel

I spent so long in the dark
You coaxed me into the light
Then you left me in the glare
And hate has filled your place

You wanted me to feel
Now here it comes
Now I can feel
And the feeling isn’t love

I need to pick which path to choose
To fight the fight or hide and flee
I can leave this world and never return
Or I can wield my pain as a blade

I want to hurt you
I want to protect you
I hate you because I love you
