A brief interlude into the obscure side of love.
- This world is blurred into an opaque smear,
the sounds are slurred, and are never quite clear.
But through the chaos of dull obscurity,
I've noticed one thing of absolute certainty.
- Your eyes are profound, and pierce the gloom,
inside them I fall and emerge no time soon.
- Your always bright smile cuts through the dark,
but the blade cuts too deep, and hits my heart.
- You guide my way through this cold, polluted world
like a lighthouse in a storm of wild, raging turmoil.
- And when you're sad, my heart hits the rocky shore,
sinking forever, I drift slowly to the floor.
- Watching teary waves become an obscure sky,
I drift pitifully to the bottom and sadly wait to die.
- If only I could rise to break the surface once more,
I'd erase the obscurity between us before
- I get the chance to fall in love with you again.
