Free verse form poem about how I feel about jealousy
Madness.
It creeps upon you when you least expect it to.

Sitting there in your chair wasting away time like air,
the madness creeps into your brain.
You try and fight those feelings it brings.

The hatred. The pain,
but the madness stays the same.

You fight for accomplishment, companionship,
yet, the madness takes it away.
Fleeting every fueled flame distinctly behind can not keep you astray.

Loneliness embraces you with kindness,
that definately won't be taken by the madness.

The possibility knowing of who is around you leaves the orifice.
Instead, the breaking silence of not being there in your mind
crowds your feelings of wantedness.

You can count solely on yourself,
everyone else is deceitful, lying, manipulative, wrong about you.
How can you live up to that, how does it go away in that instant
when you are finally happy?
The madness won't allow it.
It dwells deep within your soul never to escape.

You will be alone,

Alone with your madness.
