A poem, or maybe song lyrics, about lost love. Romeo and Juliet symbolism.
In blue starlight
I was becoming someone else
Morning bells sound, so were you
I guess we’ve found different people

How could I be happy for you?
If she was with anyone else, I swear I would.

Don’t tell me this can’t be love
I know what I feel
But I have to tell myself it wasn’t real
It was never real

How can you not see that I love you?
I still love you.

Baby call it what you will

A rose by any other name
Still has thorns

Juliet, I need to find you dear
We’re tired of loving the unknowing
Now you’re falling asleep, don’t fear
This time, I’m here
When that far away light dies
I’ll be your northern star
Flying you home again

In blue starlight
I was someone else.

I’m here, I’m here

I’ll be your northern star
Flying you home again.
