An enlightened spirit still contaminated by pessimistic views.
Let tonight slip around you like a black dress.
The sweet subtle light that shimmers across.
Velvet and perfect.
I can smell the heat rising off the surface.
As we entangle
Lovers, so in lust.

My dreams coming true.
Painting your eyes like diamonds in the sky.
Whispering into the still air.
Tasting you
For you.

Unluck has run out.
I am the happiest I’ve ever been.
Learn to appreciate my sarcasm.
I’m sorry dear, but the world’s not perfect,
Or you,
Or I.

How very tiresome life would be.
This is how you fade the very feeling.
The dullness of monotony
Highlights these bursts of color in between.

There are many shades of black.
Do not mistake,
Do not accuse,
The sky of not changing.

Lick the black gently with fire,
Making a vibrant and miraculous scene.
And when I fall,
Fall from this sky,
I hope to fall deep into you.
