Poem of sadness and suffering. PLEASE R & R!!
Hope left me,
Suffering returned,
The coldness of the grave,
Wrapped around me.
I awaited the embrace of death,
When the shadows came.

What I wanted to last,
Was gone like smoke,
What I wanted to end,
Lingered forever.
I awaited the embrace of death,
When the shadows came.

They didn't care.
They ignored my pain.
The world carried on,
Without me.
I awaited the embrace of death,
When the shadows came.

The pain I could not feel anymore,
A dull throb like a second heart,
Only one filled with nothing,
But torment.
I awaited the embrace of death,
When the shadows came.

It was just too much for me.
It burst forth,
And the madness claimed me.
I awaited the embrace of death,
When the shadows came.

When the last flickering light died,
I heard a voice.
I knew it well,
For I heard it everyday.
It whispered,
Welcome to hell.
When I awaited the embrace of death,
The shadows came.

I Regret it.
