silent love and longing
                AN ANGEL'S SMILE
Century's old eyes, hiding behind an angel's smile.
Who could compare her? A vision of shyness, all beguiles.

Eyes how they sparkle, love and pain of century gone.
Hidden in her eyes, all of the light captured in dawn.

Lost is the darkness, gazing into a starry night.
Such is her likeness. Her eyes gleaming, they are my light.

Smile that entices, kiss of a goddess no mortal knows.
Voice like the four winds, frigid it tangles, fresh as the snow.

Warmth of the sun's light, shadows fleeing, cast on a dial.
but who knows the passions hiding an angel's smile?
