A poem of the tragedy of a golden flower.
A golden flower
The picture of life
Drooped pedals brushing the ground

Wind rips the hill
Rain creates tears upon the flower’s face
For there is no sight
Save the flower’s barren hill

Brittle brown leaves
Swirl in the wind
The only remains of a forgotten friend

Clouds darken the land
A starless night
A loveless night

The golden flower
The picture of life
Forgotten, dead, gone
