Now he's gone

We had a chance.
We never knew how to take it
And, as I took a last glance,
I dropped a tear. I couldn't fake it.
Maybe he had spotted me and maybe not
And, I couldn't perceive what he really thought.
That day, I walked gradually away
Because I had no other way!
Suddenly, I ran back to his direction
And my heart was full of affection
I thought, "Maybe he'd approach me."
I was giving us another chance you see

and, the truth, me thunder strook...

And,now he's gone
