Some people sit back and watch injustices pass them by.
The memories fade, but the pain still remains.
The images you view over your breakfast or your stew.
Blood and gore, the agony of the poor.
You pretend to care but you're far from aware.
Those brown faces, so far from your places.
Those children dying while you're busy lying
They scream in pain but your views remain the same
It's not our problem, it's not our struggle
You say with a sigh as you walk on by
No compassion, your lack of action.
What will it take, before you awake
To the destruction of the world, the people of mother Earth
Remain unconscious, someone is watching
It wont be you, you'll pay your dues
Sit back and relax as you always do
We'll continue the fight for what's right
While you continue to ignore their plight
