A poem suggesting the rebirth of a world which had been sullied and defiled by man-kind.
That which falls from the heavens like tears,
Flooding in a sea of purity,
Is it still only me who sees it?
That wretched heart which eagerly beats,
Is even this much bloodshed,
Not enough?
Oh, how holy we all believe ourselves to be,
White lilies covered in red,
The dusk awaits the new found glory;
Which we have only ourselves to blame.
How long will we live like this,
Trapped in this box-like reality?
How much longer shall we endure,
This destruction we call "life"?
Oh, how serene. how benignant.
Those things we call unholy,
Are really what we've become,
Only somehow prettier.
Can we stay like this, eternally,
Walking on man-made burdens?
Lets wipe this earth clean once more,
And start a new day under a new sun.
How lovely....
This pure-white destruction.
