Broken Angel

The math is simple, the puzzle almost complete-

says the white warrior, departing.
I feel my heart ache.
 
 
I can see the invisible wings on his back,
While he sits there, hunched over, looking so broken.
I wish to fix that.
 
 
A broken angel- what a picture,
But he paints it, so perfectly.
Something broken yet perfect.
