My first try at a technical poem
When we will part for good, don't forget,
I have been there, be there for me too.
Help me to my eternal peace without regret,
Forgive the thoughts of anger, I had, I always knew.

Be there, I have been there for you too,
those hours of words we spoke, speak now.
Forgive the thoughts of anger I had, I always knew,
cheer me on as I take my final bow.

Words for hours, we spoke, speak to me now,
I will forever remember you my sweet friend.
Cheer me on, my dear, as I take my final bow,
I need your hand, for there is a lot to mend.

I will forever seek a soul like you my friend,
so help me to my eternal peace without regret.
I need your hand with me, there is lots to mend,
when I will part for good, promise you won't forget.

This poem is a Pantoum. The catch is that lines 2 and 4 of each stanza become lines 1 and 3 of the succeeding stanza. They are to be repeated in their entirety (if possible).
