this ones kinda personal for me. wrote it last father's day. honest reviews please.
A father's day poem,
for a dad that doesn't exist.
I've never written one before,
but it goes something like this.

Well hey there dad,
I guess its been awhile,
but I've been wondering,
why I never see you smile.

Is it because you hate me,
or are you just confused?
Fatherhood is in you,
but I guess its just unused.

Because everytime I see you,
your eyes are never proud,
your smiles always forced,
and your voice is always loud.

But that's only until she's near,
then you clean up your act,
because you're still in love with her.
It's just her love that lacked.

She's not yours anymore,
and somehow that's my fault,
and I'm sorry for whatever I did,
that made her love halt.

You came here just for Father's Day
that's what dads are supposed to do,
but I cannot remember,
the last time I saw you.

Well now you have to leave again,
and I'm not sure what to say,
so I'll act like I have a father,
"Happy Father's Day."
