Acid Sea

I hate the things that start to end, and forever we pretend,
Will become what we are, staring now into the stars,
We call the sun upon the sea, that leaves behind one such to me,
So to the moon I turn the isle, drifting out another mile.

Drifting out of different days, into now this drifting maze,
No food no air no food or drink, waking now that deadly beast,
So hot the sun to melt my skin, to the water drifting kin,
The dead I watch to sink once more, hoping that their’s more to war.

The acid sea to melt this boat, bring me now to die afloat,
I melt away from flesh to bone, away from life to death alone,
Resting now my bones to tide, finally on land I cried,
If I could but now left dead, there I lie a demons bed.
