tell the person you love that u love them before its too late...
There she sits alone
No place can she call home

Tears on her face
Everyone she loved gave her space

Nowhere to go
Heart heals slow

Scared and frightened
Once her life was lightened

Shivering in the midnight cold
Everyone told her to be bold

But she can’t be strong
When everything went wrong

She blinks her eye
Tears stinging, making her cry

No smile, smile
Everything will be okay in a while.

Trying to get up but she falls
Her brains on a weekend, she’s not taking any calls

Let her stay with her own self for some time
Until she’s sure she’s fine

But what’s her plan?
Did she think about that before she ran?

Will she ever go back?
She’s completely lost her track.

Pale face and shaking hands,
Her fingers loosening the friendship bands.

Broken promises and lies
All her failed tries

Her pretending everything was alright
Pretending to sleep at night,

Believing it was all a nightmare
That her car would change the gear,

Thinking her wounded heart would heal
Finally there would be only happiness she’d feel

But this was reality, things for real
It was clear
That she was destined to stay upset
She had lost the bet.

When her mom challenged her that she’d lose if she’d go her own way
And she said she didn’t need her mother to make it through every day

But now it makes her realize
Her mother was very nice

Don’t know how her mind changes
But she’s slowly tearing the pages
The cursing diary entries burn in fire.
At least her mother wasn’t a liar

What she said was true
Without her mom she was blue.

Without thinking, barefoot she starts to run
Her life again is going to be fun.

Smiling she knows this time she would win
She’s running, car HITS, life begins to spin…

NO, NO this is not right
Her life was just about to fill with light

On her face there’s only blood
All her happy memories flood

I tell her” hold on please, I’ll get you there”
“No,” she says,” just tell my mother I care
I love her; I just wanted to tell her that,
I know I’ve been very bad”

“Tell her I know how much she used to love
Now I’ll just love her from above.
Might not go to heaven but hell,
But with me gone I’ll ask God to take care of her well.”

With that she closes her eyes and her jobs done
She always knew her mother was true
I tell her mom,” You know she really did love you”

As I finish with the last words her daughter had said,
She falls down with tears on the bed.

All I do is stand there and apologize
“No,” she says,” it made me realize.”

"I should’ve tried to make her understand
What I meant by giving her the friendship band.
That before her mother, I was her friend
That I’d be there till the end.
That if she wanted she could go, but I wanted her to stay
Cause she was the strength that made me live through everyday…”

My heart fills with tears and I know Monica’s looking from above,
Her eyes filled with love.
