she'll just use him and loose him...
She stands there with her friends
Urging you silently to come into her world.
Her trap.
That long, shiny, blonde hair,
Falling in delicate curls past her bare shoulders.
She turns to you with sparkling sapphire eyes
And a diamond smile.
You forget everything in life except her perfect features,
And your jaw drops.
She slowly walks towards you, long legs barely hidden
Beneath a worn denim skirt…

I watch from the sidelines of life,
And see your world slowly being destroyed.
“ Don’t let her in!” My mind yells at you.
But of course, you don’t let my interruptions enter your mind.
I am witnessing a life being lost.
You take in that poison honey and let it roll across your tongue,
Deep, deep down you’re through.
You taste it,
Enjoy it,
Savor it…
Loose it.

You give up you soul and sanity to her,
Not even knowing she’s playing you like a harp.
I long to be the one you’re talking to,
Being held by you,
Being loved by you.
I still can be, because you don’t really love her.
How can you love something that can kill you?

But I’ll never know.
I’ll never show how much I love you.
The only one who will know is my tortured soul,
For every spoonful of poison honey you take in,
Another piece of me is lost,
Like I’m the one ingesting that evil temptation.
I can implore you and beg you and scream at you to leave her,
But you will never hear me.
Or my longing heart.
