This is a poem about a male who gets killed by a gunshot and dies in his partners arms.
Gunshot

I loved the way you looked,
deep, deep into my eyes.
Fluttering your eyelashes,
you gave me butterflies.

Your touch so soft and gentle,
you put your hands upon my waist.
Pulled me slowly closer,
i felt your breath upon my face.

Your kiss so passionate and tender,
you pulled away to smile.
You kissed me upon my forehead,
you held me for a while.

You suddenly lost your grip,
you fell down to the floor.
You laid there still and quiet,
then blood began too pour.

Nothing but a gunshot wound,
in the middle of your chest.
I screamed and called the ambulance,
while you weeped but also rest.

Faces of the attackers,
i could not clearly see.
Why aim for the one i loved,
why didnt they aim for me.

You kissed and said you loved me,
but now its time for me 2 go.
I cried please don't go and leave me,
in this world all here alone.

You smiled and held my hand,
your eyes they fully closed.
Why did these people kill you,
the one i loved the most.

I cried and shook you slightly,
thinking that you would awake.
I wrapped my arms around you,
this murder was a big mistake.

I kissed you one last time,
while memories flooded me.
I will wait here for my turn to die,
then back together we shall be.
