slam poetry- spoken word performance piece.
you call this reality?
your fallacy.
ignorance is not bliss.
in order to achieve happiness in this world
we must accept reality
deal
concentrate on how we can reciprocate
find our place
in the grand scheme of things.
what satisfaction that brings.
you see these tattoos these scars
these experiences
branded as ours.
we made them we show them
daily.
even when we were jaded we saved this
denounced the ways the views the powers
anything at all that keeps this from being ours.
these lies you're telling me
embelish me.
charish me.
before i parish i promise
im on this, it's good and
you know it i've showed you
raw, black, and white
sharp, witty with incite
you recite
these words in your sleep
until you know your lies run deep
and these words creep into your mind
in your down time you discover
you can never stop me
constant.
the only change will never change
and this keeps me
honest.
as you market your militant concepts
your juvennile prospects
your substance induced intillect manifests and
my words take you hostage.

you've got this reality.
your fallacy.
undeniably your own bondage.

your future trapped in history.
