A family vacation though the woman's eyes.
As I lay in the sand
I let the wind brush against my skin
as I watch the sun disappear into the water.
I release all the stress factors about my life.
Watching my boys from afar as they play in the sand.
Being boys and making sand dunes and castles.
We were there before the sun begin to set. Upon
the darkness of day it was time to call it a night
for the boys. As I put them to sleep I sat on the
balcony and watched the moon dress the water.
I saw all the couples coming down to enjoy the
night that was filled with love. I enjoyed the
watch from above as I embrace the presence
of love that was lingering in the air. As the
wind continued to make a presence around
me I start to feel a special touch. As I turned
around I'm being hugged by my friend, lover
and life companion. Who was the reason we
came to the beach to begin with. Upon his arrival
he too enjoyed the calming winds against his
face. We unwind the night free from worry to
awake the next day to enjoy a family scuba
lesson. The beach was a relaxing vacation
spot.
