Looking Up

Lying down,
Under the stars.
Looking up at them,
Wondering where they are.
Each one of them reminds me of you.
Each one of them as bright as your eyes.
Listen to me and you'll know it's true.
The coyotes keep shouting their cries,
As a full moon rises over head.
You wish you could go there,
And I wish to take you there before I'm dead.
