Guess I was day dreaming
Sunshine, softly creeping from the East
Blankets the land of my dreams.
Sparkling droplets of last night’s dew
Reflect jewel-like from the sun’s beams.

The morning mist rises from the streams
To resemble gossamer, draped upon the wind.
The ‘wakening' calls of the song birds
Sound reveille to all the forest denizen.

In another time, it seems another world,
I woke to the dawn song of the birds.
And watched as the mist lifted and the world awoke.
Now, in this world, I search for reminding words.

I wish there could be magic words
That, once spoken, would be the key
To unlock the time dimension portal
And let enter dreamers like me.
