An Etheree-al Anagram ~ inspired by Author's Spotlight 2008
HUNGRY SOUL

Hope
Unfed
Nurtures not
Growth, untended
Rapacious hunger,
Yearning for a morsel
Sips betrayal's bitter brine,
Open wound bleeds no healing tears,
Unsatisfied, soul's unrequited
Love inscribes a roadmap of age-worn scars.
