another short poem inspired by an assaignment and my amazing teacher
Walking tediously upward, feeling the sturdy path under my feet
Experiencing the climb
I trudge onward
Breaking through the thicket, I feel the cool fresh breeze
The scent of wildflowers wafts
As I climb
Gravity tells me how high I've come
The exhilaration of the mountain
I am at the top
Tears fill my eyes as I imagine what it looks like
For I cannot see
