Just a poem that i found in stack of papers that i wrote years back.
Who are we,
who are called the empty
That we give and give,
Till naught is left of ourselves,
But a hollow core,
Of what we used to be,
So, why is it that we give,
Till we have so little left,
Then we are taken from,

Who are we,
to take the burdens,
Not our own,
but bear them as such,
Who are we,
To go one step further,
To no avail,

We are those who know,
That all burdens must be borne,
Regardless of the shoulders,
On which the weight might fall,
Why burden another,
When we alone can bear the weight,

Some would say we are givers,
Others might say men,
But we know that in the end,
We are empty.
