The tale of a Vampire an his meal for the evening.

The scent of blood, the taste of fear
a faint wimper hits my ear.

My victim laying upon the floor
cut open like a gutted boar.

She pleads with me, please make it stop
The blood soaks through and drenches her top.

I've heard it before. They're all the same.
I no longer feel the golden shame.

I bend my knees, coming down to her level.
Her eyes meet mine, to her I'm the devil.

Just close your eyes. I need to feed.
Here, take my hand and follow my lead.

I cradle her in my pale white arms
and use my prime immortal charms

She bends to me, my every will
as i swoop down for the kill.

My fangs penetrate the flesh of her neck
and i hold her close to keep her in check.

I drain her life, a most horrid crime.
So much bliss, so little time.

And just like that the game is over.
Her lifeless body slumped against my shoulder.

Another corpse, another dead.
Another notch above my bed.

And thus my thirst is satisfied.
It is my nature, i must abide.

The suns up soon, time to sleep.
Tomorrow night again ill creep.
